We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a full-time, long-term spiral paper tube winder operator and industrial maintenance technician. This role involves operating specialized machinery to produce high-quality spiral paper tubes and performing routine industrial maintenance tasks to ensure equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for hands-on technical work, we would love to hear from you! 

Advancement opportunity available for a foreman/plant supervisor 

Hrs. are Mon-Friday 6am-4pm with overtime available.

The Job

Minimum skills: 

-3+ years setting up and operating a spiral paper tube winding line

-Valid driver’s license

-Ability to stand for 10 hrs/day and lift paper tubes overhead

-Written/verbal skills (read a work order, digital caliper, measuring tape)

-High attention to quality and detail, and ability to multi-task

-Commitment to a long-term position

Preferred skills:

-Ability to operate a forklift

-Ability to operate a yard truck (ie. shunt truck, spotter truck, spotting tractor, yard truck, yard dog, yard goat, yard horse, yard jockey or mule)

-Strong industrial technical skill (welding, fabrication, tube saw/winder repair and maintenance)

-Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities:

-Maintain production up-time, machine setup, loading/unloading trailers, training new recruits

About this area:

We operate business in a suburban area with close proximity to both largely populated cities, very rural camping areas, and 20 minutes from the Ocean! NH is famous for its beautiful fall foliage, amazing skiing/hiking/snowmobiling trails, amazing food and social opportunities. We are 1 hour north of Boston Massachusetts and 1 hour South of Portland Maine, both which have very large international airports, as well as being 25 minutes from a large domestic airport (Manchester NH). Montreal and NYC are both 4.5 hour drive.
